Hardy seems fine. Had a bit of a problem with the keyboard earlier but everything’s running smoothly. I hope.

Something to do after installing/upgrading to Hardy. Attend the Ubuntu Open Week! Hopefully, this time, gising pa ko ng ganung oras.

So i decided to play with magi a bit. First thing I did was to dl the pending updates. Then I installed netbeans from the repo. Everything went well until I tried running it. The error I got was:

Warning – could not install module JPDA Debugger API
JPDA Debugger API – This module requires jpda.jar to be accessible.
This file was not found. Usually this means you are trying to run the IDE with the JRE instead of the full JDK.
If so, please use the –jdkhome command line option to specify a JDK installation

Apparently, I had the same problem as seeker84. I dont know if he was able to fix it but thanks to this post, I finally got it working. Ansimple lang. Andun na sa last line o. Kaso wala talaga akong alam. hahaahhaahahah

Should I wait for two more weeks? Or should I try 8.04beta now? Excited. hahaahha

I have two boxes here running on Ubuntu. major’s quite old, still running on Dapper. The other one, magi, is already running on Gutsy but I haven’t tinkered with it lately. I was planning to replace major with magi but, it seems, I really don’t wanna let go of major, yet. hahahaha lab na lab. I’m still quite busy, though. Been doing a lot of reading lately that I might just wait for Hardy to be released before I do anything. I might go back on helping the localization efforts of ubuntu-ph, too. *slaps forehead* Isa-isa lang.

Nagana ang Samsung CLP-300N sa Ubuntu! Yay! Dinownload ko lang sa Samsung yung driver nila para sa Linux then yon na. Problema na lang pag naubos ‘tong tinta. =D

I finally got the darn wifi working. *whew*  That was a big relief, really.  Sir Art will be out of the country for a few days and he’ll be taking this laptop with him. I was afraid that I won’t be able to fix it but luck was on my side today. Anyway, I won’t be able to work this out if weren’t for these posts. One of the few snags I encountered was that I’d been using the wrong gateway after all ahhahaha s. tu. pid. Thanks to K’ Wawi, I was able to get off that one.

Pweh. Ubos na Ingles ko. Tas yon. Masyado rin kasi akong nag-rely dito. Di naman sa sinasabi kong walang kwenta yung dokumentasyon na yon. Basta yun. Di gumana saken. Salamat sa mga nag-post sa mga forums, sa wiki, sa ubuntu-ph, sa nanay at tatay ko…  ^_^ Dalawang Linksys naman ang pagtutuunan ko sa mga susunod na araw.
